The Heights sits just northwest of Downtown, inside the 610 Loop — one of Houston’s oldest neighborhoods and one of its most sought-after today. Victorian and craftsman bungalows line the historic districts; between them, teardown lots turn into modern new builds at a steady clip.

It trades on walkability. 19th Street shops, Heights Mercantile, the MKT and hike-and-bike trails, and a dense run of restaurants and bars put daily life on foot — rare for Houston. Buyers pay for that, and the inventory splits between protected historic stock and ground-up contemporary homes.
